The river is high

This afternoon I went into Shrewsbury to collect my camera after it was repaired by Jessops in the town.

I walked through The Quarry, a park bordering on the River Severn which was very full after all the recent rain.  Gulls, mallards and swans were gathered near the outdoor cafe, they always know where food can be found!
