Cold Outside

Oh Baby, it certainly is today!    So I brought a nice pot of Crocus vernus indoors for a little while and this happened :-)    Here in the west we've no snow but a cold east wind has blown all day and looks likely to continue for a while yet.  It's not been destructive like last weekend but it makes sure you wrap up warm before venturing out .... which we did this afternoon.   Jamie and I took Meg to the ball field for some high octane exercise before I walked her through town while Jamie headed off to the mouth of the Dysynni, a mile or so up the coast, where there's a footbridge over the river.   Another day we'll go together and make a cycle trip over and beyond.

Thanks again to those who showered yesterday's snowdrops with gifts - two entries in the top twenty in three days, a very rare occurrence for me!
