Or Happy New Year in Chinese. Beginning the Year of the Ox. Strictly speaking, it's the start of the lunar new year and the Spring Festival.

It's such a colourful event and so joyful and I'm looking forward to seeing the Birmingham Chinatown celebration online tonight.

Last year, Carol and I went to the actual event, but you know what's happened in between.

As usual on a Friday we went to the market to say Hi to the fishmongers, picking up veg from the Urban Farmshop on the way back. Said Hello to Colin too.
