Early bird......

My title could refer to either me or the bird, I was out early today because I knew if I hung around I wouldn't go out at all;  it was cold but not quite as cold as it's been recently but all the same I was pleased when I got back home.

After all the sorting out and tidying up on my computer I bought a new faster and larger external drive and today I copied across all my photos  -  a six hour job so I'm hoping I should be OK now for a year or two, I hope they're not famous last words.  My laptop is still with the repairer and I'm pleased it wasn't my only means of getting on line.
