Wherezaball!!

Very good day, memorable for a number of reasons. Great sleep last night, lie-in this morning, tea and biscuits in bed. Managed to clean out gutters and down pipe filters on the man cave shed, swept all patio and pavement areas of the garden, everything now tickety boo. Had a long awaited telephone appointment with Mr M, my cardiology consultant. The results of recent x-ray, CT and ultra sound scans show no significant deterioration in my aortic valve and surgery is not deemed urgent and will wait till next clinic appoint later in the year. Glad, because I have things to do this year which I don't want to have to postpone. Like getting Hollie dog's leg sorted. Although, to see this hound chasing and catching a tennis ball you would be forgiven for thinking there is nothing wrong with her! She is a nutter!
Mrs I is delighted with the deferral of hospital dealings, albeit a delaying of the inevitable. She did not want to be visiting and caring for an invalid in the midst of a global covid pandemic. Understandable!

**Made a donation online to the just giving page, for Chris Lewis, the mountain rescue member who suffered terrible injuries at the weekend, falling nearly 500 feet down a mountainside in Cumbria. Over £500k raised already. An incredible response which clearly demonstrates the high regard in which these heroic volunteers  are held! **
