Day 332 Still blooming!

Normally now, during school closures,  Wednesday would be Science Experiment Day with Violet but as it's half term, she spent the day with her mummy instead.  I managed a few chores around the house as I'm having a fairly good day OA wise but still haven't been able to get easily to the end of the garden where the snowdrops remain the only flowers in the garden blooming.  Instead I opened the front door to photograph these pretty osteospermum, still flowering happily in a pot  on the doorstep, not doubt because they are quite sheltered.
This evening I watched Wartime Britain: Keep Calm and Carry On, a programme on channel 5 where a modern family experience the challenges of 1940s life in the UK.  It was astonishing to hear the parallels when war war broke out in 1939, when people were instructed to stay at home, gatherings of crowds were banned and places of entertainment closed.
