A wombled MacBook Air table

Mr hazelh brought this wee table into my study while I was working this afternoon. He found it propped up against the communal bins in our street. He thought that I might like it for the shed. Instead, I think that it is the perfect size for my Mac, which normally sits squeezed up against the right hand screen on my main desk.

It's been yet another super-busy day. Amongst other things I gave my web site a quick refresh by replacing the wintry header image with a profusion of daffodils from my blip of Alnwick castle of March 2019. I also wrote a blog post about David H's latest co-authored journal article, updated my publications pages, prepared another blog post for tomorrow, and planned some more blogging activity between now and the end of March. One of the reasons for doing all this now is that I will be delivering a training course with Marina in a couple of weeks at which we will argue the benefits of maintaining your own online profile. I need to get my house in order for this ;-)

As I type this text, the NASA Perseverance rover is touching down on Mars. Mr hazelh is beside himself with excitement.

Tomorrow is meant to be a non-working day for me. However, I have offered to help out with an important and somewhat urgent piece of work so that will keep me entertained. At least it's not the height of summer...

Exercise today: 45 minutes on the exercise bike.
