Alfie and his human.

I took a trip down to Trinity Buoy Wharf this morning to see if anything was going on. On the waterfront were three cyclists, one appearing to have something in the basket at the front.

I went closer to have a look and saw that it was a little fluffy white dog. I asked if I could take a picture with the Dome in the background and Theresa happily agreed. She explained that  Alfie is a therapy dog, giving comfort to people in distress.

We discussed the story in the papers today about the therapy dog in the Lake District that has been awarded a medal for his great work with people suffering from depression.

Alfie is getting old now and is nearly blind and deaf. But he seemed happy to be out on a ramble. Good dog, Alfie.
