Flurries

The seed flurries have outnumbered the snow flurries today. This view is looking down through a window at a forsythia tree where a squirrel is standing upright, balancing himself on a branch to steal sunflower seeds from this small feeder. You can see the smattering of shells and flakes, and the shells are winning • I put out deer food, apples and seeds near the cherry tree with hopes a few stop by later this afternoon or overnight. Now that we’re stocked up on everything I hope to put out food every other day while the snow is deep. I can’t imagine there’s much around for them to eat • Do any of you watch Hulu? If so, we highly recommend a limited series “Mrs. America” - the writing and acting are both excellent and it’s about the Women’s Movement during the 1970s.
