The Great Lafayette

Contemporary and friend of Houdini, a famous as him back in the day, but strangely forgotten. Got a book about him in the post today, one that’s rarer than hen’s teeth, but a magic shop down south has some copies. I have ‘plans’.

Anyway, he’s buried 15 minutes walk away, at the same place as his dog Beauty, after both died a couple of days apart in Edinburgh . The story is one you need to Google. The book gives me LOADS more.
