The first time I had ginger tea made with fresh ginger was in Utrecht. Everything about that trip was great including the use of root ginger. I always have fresh ginger in the freezer. I grate it straight from frozen, peel and all, when it's needed for recipes. But for tea you have to slice it and it needs to defrost a bit. Anyway, here is my cup of ginger tea this morning. No caffeine of course which I probably need but this is what I fancied today. Ginger is good for warming you up from the inside.
It's still damp, we're still keeping our heads firmly down and I don't anticipate a particularly impressive step count today. I will go out at some point but I'm in no rush.
