Kintsugi

The ancient Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces together with gold, a metaphor for embracing your own flaws and imperfections and making something better.
I used Loctite superglue glue and some old Hammerite gold paint to mend this ashtray heirloom of my Dads that I carelessly broke. I discovered later I could have bought a Kintsugi kit from Amazon.
This stemmed from a poetry workshop.
