A walk in the park

Early start for us all as Miss PHL had to be in Glasgow for her course by 9. She was getting a lift from a friend but needed to be taken a 25 minute drive away to meet the car.

Mr PHL picked up some breakfast from the Golden Arches drive through which was actually quite tasty.

Took advantage of our early start to head to Dalkeith country park to see if the snowdrops were out and they were, in abundance. (See extra).
Was just leaving the car when Phin took off and headed for a figure in the distance - I was dragged along behind him almost running! As I got closer I realised it was the dog trainer. Phin was so excited it was difficult to drag him away.
Lovely 4km walk round the snowdrops and the river then back home to prepare turkey and spinach lasagne for dinner.

Did a little bit of research on the fish statue from Saturday and the artist is a chap called Robert Rae. Here’s a link to his website where he takes a walk along the River Almond and visits his fish - https://www.ronaldrae.co.uk/news/ronald-rae-visits-his-cramond-fish

Thanks to Carolina for hosting MonoMonday. I know I’ve not managed rocks as a backdrop but it was fun playing with a new editing tool.

Reminder that the last TinyTuesday of the month has an optional theme of ‘something from the natural world’ and the tag is TT300. Looking forward to seeing your interpretations.
