Salt Marsh

A short walk today out across the salt marsh to the beach.  The weather was lovely, with sunshine and a warm breeze; you wouldn’t believe it was February and that we’d had all that snow just a week or so ago.  I didn’t take the camera as the last couple of times I’ve done this walk there wasn’t much to see; of course today, there were egrets, shelducks, lapwings, and many more.  The display in the little shelter suggests that spoonbills are seen here; now that is a bird I’d love to see.
