My favourirte oak tree

This is an ancient oak tree on what used to be part of a golf course, but which has now become a 'practice range.' I have this feeling that this flat land, not that far from the centre of Inverness, might end up being sold off for housing. If I were the company involved I would make this wonderful tree a feature, rather than butcher it. Otherwise, they will have to get past me first.
