Was up early this morning so walked up through the woods to Cottingley and then over the fields to Wilsden. Saw some jays and 2 woodpeckers. On the way back I was cleaning my boots in the ford at Beckfoot Bridge and a kingfisher flew right by me... never been as close to one as that before :-)
