a lifetime burning

Beady Eye

After a cold foggy start it has turned into another wonderfully sunny day.  I probably should have set out early to see if I could get some landscape shots showing the mist caught in the local valleys but other priorities got in the way this morning.  Instead, here is a shot of a crow casting a beady eye on something.  I suspect it is looking up, but it may be that its left eye is looking to see if there is something to eat on the ground.

Corvids are such interesting birds to watch - you can see the obvious intelligence and curiosity in their behaviour.

Thank you very much for your kind comments etc for yesterday's "moonshot" which are as always much appreciated.
