Country House

Another week of lockdown under the belt, cautiously optimistic about the lifting of restrictions in Scotland, so much so we've arranged to go to our croft in the Outer Hebrides for a month at the end of June.

Took my Canon to a house, a very big house in the country, this is part of the herbaceous garden at the back.

Have been listening to "Doubtlands" by MT Doubt this week, darkly melancholic, uplifting, tense yet pleasant. Also, the new Teenage Fanclub album "Endless Arcade" is released this Friday.

In other news, I trust when the chancellor makes his speech on Wednesday, he will acknowledge Baroness Dido's £22 billion personal contribution to the gaping hole in public finances.
