Grandpas little helper!

With spring comes the winter clear up of twigs . A ritual that Mr Tbay has to do before he can begin mowing this part of the lawns. We have a lot of Willow trees surrounding the garden, and indeed the whole area is full of Willow trees. Today Mr Tbay was so happy to be able to get the domestic lawns all cut. The smell of freshly mown grass was again delicious. If only they could bottle it!

The Ducks are back again too! We seem to have quite a bit of bird life back in the garden. The House Sparrows are limbering themselves up to start nesting in the eaves and continue their excavations of my house! I have now a Spotted Woodpecker who visits on a more regular basis too. There seem to currently be two pairs of Moorhens, a pair of Mallard ducks , as well as Blue Tits, Great Tits,  a pair of Long Tailed Tits and lots of Goldfinches. And a flipping Squirrel!  The latter may have to go..........
