A couple of days back Lozarithm and I exchanged a few thoughts on Pentax film cameras and which models might still function without the batteries.  Today as I was about to take my Pentax MX for a walk around the village, I discovered the metering was not working - although thankfully, just the meter cells, and, I had some spares.
The Canon A-1 was ok, so I did manage a couple of film images.

Running two 35+ year old film cameras ... sounds a little silly Saturday?
