Common crow

This is the common crow ( Euploea core)  t'internet tells me it has a shiny metallic pupa which can be seen on the underside of oelander leaves.  It likes the tropics and more Northern Australia but is not uncommon to see it in Sydney.  With the tropical weather we have been having I am not surprised they are here.  The adult has only four legs (you can't it see too well - the first pair is underdeveloped).  There were a pair of these flitting around in the garden today.   I rather like their spotted bodies.

A visit from my brother and much tidying up of the garden and house was done.
