Nuthatch - 28

It just struck me that this look similar to yesterday's redpoll photo. This was taken on our regular Roughlow walk and once again we heard the nuthatch before we saw it. They are surprisingly loud little birds.

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update

Day 28 -  Devon. 4.4 miles walked. 144.6 miles completed.

Four weeks in and the day started with a walk through the pleasant town of Dawlish and a look at the black swans followed by a visit to the museum. I passed the guest house where we stayed while walking the South West Coast Path (for real) and finished at Starcross where I had a chance to admire the engine house of the atmospheric railway. Pub stop of the day was a virtual pint at the Ship Inn at Cockwood
