Black Headed Gull

Today after another non-rushed morning we decided to go for a walk and find a Blip so we could relax later when it was football time.

We couldn't decide where to go so once again we did the thing where Brian (on this occasion) wrote a numbered list of places and I picked a number without seeing the list.
This time it came up with Hartsholme Park, but we walked as far as Swanholme too, which is where I took this photo of a black headed gull swimming on one of the lakes.

We saw several Great Crested Grebes, some herons and cormorants too, along with all the usual suspects!

Football as just started and Man U are 1-0 up and looking more interested than in their last two televised games. I hope iot continues - it is the Manchester derby and if they can't motivate themselves for this one they should not be wearing the shirts!
