Life in Sunny Dubai

Windy

(8/3/21)

We were out of the flat well in time this morning, so much so, it was possible to swing by the beach, do the recycling and take a few shots of a very rough sea. I wasn't sure of what reaction I would get of clicking pictures of swimmers/waves on the beach with a "proper" camera so I didn't hang around for the really big waves. As you can see, there were surfers there, some of them taking lessons.

G had a slightly longer day at school, so after trying my usual Costa (which was full due to COVID spacing restrictions) I ended up in Shakespeare (see my extra). It was nicer, quieter, the chair was more comfortable and the very nice waitress allowed me to have a table for six so I could be close to a wall plug! Whilst there, I managed to book an appointment for my first COVID vaccine! March 29th is the date.

Lunch was shawarmas by the sea. And then we raced home to be at a Zoom Parade service by the Wonersh URC church. It was fun. The rest of the evening feels like a blur now. G had her lesson with her kids in Geneva. I spent most of it working on another video that got posted after midnight.
