A Day Worth Recording

Awandleing

We went for a wander (or maybe a wandle) after Meeting this morning, around Wandlebury, the local iron-age ring fort.

The display of aconites and snowdrops took us a bit by surprise as, although we'd visited many times over the years it, apparently, had never been at this time of year, and we'd never associated Wandlebury with anything other than mild disappointment. A bit different this time.

After lunch it was back to the decorating. I hate MDF with a vengeance but unfortunately it was the right solution to an immediate problem.

Although wearing one, I have a bit of a hate for dust masks too. My one and only trip to hospital with a DIY-related injury was caused by a dust mask - pinging back on it's elastic when I was taking it off, and catching the surface of one eye.

Tip. Take the mask off, then the eye protection.
