Japanese Laurel

We've had it all today ..... heavy squalls of rain, gusting winds and some brief glimpses of the sun.

In between the showers I managed to take Poppy for a walk in the park. Having had a paddle in the area I call the dog's swimming pool Poppy was much wetter than I was by the time we got back to the car.

This Japanese Laurel with the bright red berries is just up the road from the supermarket. I must be having too many cups of tea these days ..... milk always seems to be on my shopping list.
