One final push to clear the duck

One time when I was on the flats at the ideal water level. Although it was just after midday, there was a range of birds to provide good photos.

The juvenile black swan (Wana) was by itself amongst the ducks. Interestingly there was also a solitary white fronted tern (Tara), and the Kuaka was also alone. The two Poaka (pied stilts) came together at the right time for my photo.

It’s been really good to just relax, although I did clean and relocate a garden table and two chairs.

Reading Siren’s Call and very engaged with it.
