Longhorn Grasshopper

I don’t see these grasshoppers very often. They are much bigger than the usual grasshoppers in the garden. Their antennae are amazingly long and thin. This one has long wings, but many photos on the internet show them as having short wings, even though they appear to be the same species, Conocephalus bilineatus. As females have long ovipositors this must be a male.
