Snuggled down

We decided to leave earlier than usual for our walk as the forecast was for rain from mid afternoon.

We saw quite a few birds Great Tit, Blue Tit, Goldfinch, Wren, Blackbird & were accompanied by bird song :-)

We climbed up onto the riverbank & spotted this Mallard ...... I thought he looked sweet snuggled down there :-)

Pleased we did go earlier as it rained soon after we got home!
