March Madness

Another sign that spring is creeping ever closer is the changing plumage of the American Goldfinch. Both males and females gradually change from their drab winter tan to summery yellow; the male continues to brighten and by May/June he’ll be shockingly lemon-like with a black cap. The brighter he is the more successful he’ll be in finding a mate • Another sign of spring is the annual college basketball tournaments dubbed March Madness. MrsP and I have printed both brackets for the men and women’s tournaments and have made our picks. Lots of basketball will be watched, as the tournaments are single elimination games. By April 4/5 we’ll celebrate two championship teams. We have fun and it gets a little spicy at times because we’re both competitive ;) • Veggie Burgers with roasted potato wedges and a corn/bean salad for dinner • Happy Weekend!
