A little bit blue

Walking along the Aegean shore in the balmy early evening sunlight. A time for refection as the last day at my current age generated some melancholy moments thinking about a year that has brought none of the things a life time of looking forward to retirement had previously anticipated and planned for. 

Covid numbers are up, again. I don't understand. I'm so sick of it. All of it.

It was an uneventful day of housework, online tutoring (which was fun), and back to back 'Columbo' in the background this evening whilst I fill my newly acquired Ikea bookshelves with the volumes that have been in storage since last June.
