Rainy Day

“Shower the people you love with love, show them the way that you feel...” a special message from James Taylor on this rainy Friday • The benefits of rain is already revealing itself on our lilac trees. Just look at those buds! I watched this black-capped chickadee flit from branch to branch pecking at the newly popped buds :) • We wrapped and boxed a few Easter gifts for The Greats that we’ll mail off tomorrow or Monday. MrsP is putting together compost from yesterday’s meal prep, and I’m doing laundry. A quiet low-key kind of day. Soon I’ll get started on a New England style cabbage soup to enjoy with a movie later. The Irishman, a mob flick about the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. It stars DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci. Household names around here, lol!
