Oops rewind! 

There were narrow slabs between the tarmac and the grass when I moved here, but I took them out and am now using them in the back garden. My son is now going to be parking his car here as it's been wilfully damaged in the past in the carpark behind his flat. The insurance company are okay with it and it'll mean his insurance is quite a lot cheaper, although it'll obviously be more inconvenient for him.

It's a pity I hadn't got foresight, but a good job I've got oddments of slabs. Eventually the drive will be widened properly, but not yet a while.
