Taken at the top of the Downfall on Kinder Scout, halfway through a Ramblers walk starting in Hayfield. Sometimes the wind blows the waterfall upwards here, which is spectacular, but not today as there was very little wind and it was another beautiful spring day!

The walk was strenuous, it's a long climb up William Clough from Hayfield, but it was very enjoyable. I don't think I've ever seen it so busy up on the Kinder plateau though, the world and his wife were out!
