The Dragon's Lair

We walked all together in blustery sunshine. Dropped in here, to Lowther Castle courtyard, for a drink. An expensive snack stop, but it is a lovely space, and you generally meet someone you know.  

The same estate’s developers have just realised they can't afford to build any of the promised 30% affordable homes of the 24-house project planned for just outside our village.  Its a very poor show.

Planted some sweet peas. As the gold medal holder of the World’s Worst Gardener, I surpassed even my self by promptly dropping one of the pots and strewing the contents all over the ground. Good thing I ignored the instructions and planted twice the number of seeds they suggested.
