View of Reelig House

Until I have another reason to visit and it's safe again, this is the closest I'm going to get for photographing this lovely pink sandstone Georgian house.

The Frasers of Reelig have lived here for many generations, and it was some of their ancestors who planted the exotic tree species (and built the grottoes and bridges) that Reelig Glen is known for.

A bit too late in the evening for me to look up the dates and historical details to add right now, but there is a fascinating history to the family and their estate. See extra for the cover of the book I'm planning to read one day! (Written by the current Laird's wife)
