A time for everything

Bluebells

This morning was a marathon session at church, Usually, we have two services at 9.00 and 10.30 and the choir sings at both, but leaves after we sing the anthem in the second service. Since Easter services are always full to overflowing, and our congregation has been growing, they decided to do three shortened services at 9.00, 10.00 and 11.00. Because we sing an introit, anthem and for the offertory on Easter Sunday, we were there for the whole of each of the three services, plus 45 minutes beforehand, to practice! The services were wonderful, but I felt quite tired by the end of the morning, and then came home and cooked a roast chicken dinner and all the trimmings! The girls had put the meat in the oven for me and done several other tasks, but it was still a late (but good) dinner! Jen was working this evening at 7, so she left soon afterwards, and Kristin left soon after her. Laura stayed on longer as she is taking her own car back with her till the end of the school year. We went for a walk around Glenwood Gardens where I blipped these bluebells.

Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!
