New flower

After our trip away I spent the day cleaning, shopping and organising “stuff”. I had a bike ride in the morning where we saw the river has retreated to its normal level after the moderate flood last week. 

This is the first bloom on a new camellia shrub I planted recently. It’s about 10cm from the ground. I don’t have any other camellias so am really pleased to see it with a new bloom.
