Travelling

Today we packed up and travelled home ( via Gundaroo, Gunning, Crookwell, Crookwell again, Binda, Tuena, Trunkey Creek and George’s Plains). The road was in good order with little traffic. We left Crookwell and had 140k to home when we realised there may not be any service stations on the quiet back roads. We turned around and went back into town to fill up. There was just one tiny servo in Tuena which could have been missed if you blinked. Crookwell was the only town as the other places were just little villages. It’s pretty countryside with many hills and twisty roads down to the Abercrombie River.

It’s always good to be home and Toby, our cat, ran out to the gate to meet us like a dog. He has been following me around all afternoon purring.

A big thankyou for all the lovely comments and good wishes on my 7th anniversary yesterday. This is a great place to hang out.
