Spring has sprung

This magnolia tree smelled divine which I wasn’t expecting as, in my experience, it’s usually the white blossoms that smell the most.

I heard my first woodpecker of the year - wonderful

I had a lovely walk in warm but slightly muggy conditions. Interestingly the police were sat very visibly at the park entrance and I suspect they’ll be monitoring for visitors from well out of the local area this long weekend.I went today as I know it will be a busy and likely unpleasant experience over the bank holiday.
