Tried to do that gas meter reading also but the key is not where I left it and all the places MrH suggested to look in (over the phone from Ireland) yielded no results.

He ordered a couple of new keys and they arrived today. Yay!!!

Randomly my electricity / gas company is putting its prices up on the 22nd April not the 1st likes everyone else so I still have time to give an up to date reading!
