The Wool Tree

One of the more unusual features of our golf course is that an example of the extremely rare wool tree, or Fatuus Aprilus to give it its Latin name, grows in the field next to the tenth tee. There has been a particularly fine crop this year, being admired by this young lamb in the blip.

Chris joined us for this morning’s very sociable round and I managed to hit the ball much straighter than on Tuesday. At least I avoided making a fool of myself.

This afternoon Tess & I started a bit of Spring tidying up in the garden.
