Day 375 Boxing hares

This isn't a very abstract image but suitably recoloured it seems fairly  appropriate as we reach the Easter weekend.  The hares are a recent purchase.  They are made of steel and are designed to rust so that they blend in with the garden.  We have bought other products from the same company, plant supports, some hoops, some like flowers, and know how good they look once they have rusted.
In other news:  today was Mr MC's last official day at work as he reaches retirement.  There was a little 'do' for him at the practice at lunchtime and he came home laden with yet more gifts and cards.  The new owners had a a video made showing the practice history with voice overs from themselves and Mr MC's former partner.  We will go in at the weekend to collect his personal items, photos and a few bits and pieces.  Although he has officially retired he will remain on the register until the end of the year and will go in for a few sessions to complete work on a couple of patients and possibly some surgical work.  I'm hoping to get my final check up from him as well!
