sparrowhawk saturday

she returns! Didn't see her yesterday but just before 6pm this evening she was back in her favourite position to sit and wait for dinner - unfortunately for her, the mice in the garden have got her hunting time sussed so all hide! She was in the garden for about 45 minutes and I normally stay inside to take photos, but tonight I managed to creep out in the garden to the bottom of the balcony steps, about 12 foot away from her to take more photos and she didn't seem fussed! And a couple of collared doves even braved the bird table to eat some peanuts while she watched on! Obviously didn't fancy dove for dinner!

A fairly quiet day following the normal weekend routine! Gardening in the morning, wasting time online and grumbling about sport in the afternoon!
