Seeing Beyond Looking

Happy Easter to One and All!

Good morning!
I hope you're all having a lovely day and enjoying the Easter celebration just the way you like best!

At 7 am, Jean and I walked down to the Boulangerie (Baker's shop) as soon as it opened to get some, still warm, fresh bread. Back home to enjoy all the delicious things left over from our initial Easter brunch basket.

We took our second cup of coffee to go and watch a lovely, and important,  documentary commented by David Attenborough and other specialists on the importance of saving our Planet.

Yesterday, there was such a tempetuous type wind blowing (called the Bise) that we had to attach my canvas blind to the railings of my balcony. It was very, very, cold and a duvet was added to the bed!

Luckily, we did a gorgeous lakeside walk yesterday morning. Today it's cool still, but the wind has calmed somewhat and we'll be out walking today after lunch.

My homemade Easter decorations this year were crocheted rabbits to make cards and other little Peter Rabbit style bunnies to hang up. I've attached one to the white jug!

The beautiful big brown chocolate bunny is a gift sent by my son from one of the Lausanne stores. The chocolate smells wonderful and is made with 70% Maracaibo chocolate which comes from Venezuala.

Have a lovely day whatever your weather! Ours is very sunny, but cool and tomorrow we'll be getting a big drop in temperatures!
