Grow where you can

I planted a few sprigs of spearmint to the left of the steps and apparently it likes growing under the steps better than beside it.  I have been watching this stalk come up through the gap in the boards for weeks.  I don't have the heart to break it off since it worked so hard to get to this point!  

Spent the day at Brett's house doing a final clean up and clear up so that the real estate agent can show the house this weekend.   We are heading up to North Carolina with Brett and our dogs so that he will not have to deal with the dogs when people are coming in to view.    Keep your fingers crossed!
