Sylvie is home

Lex and I picked up Sylvie from her foster home this evening and brought her here to her forever home.  She is quiet, curious and cautious, but she's let me pet her a few times and seems comfortable wandering the apartment.  She has wonderfully soft fur.  So we are off to a good start and I think both of us are rather worn out from emotion.  The foster mom sent along some of the food she's been eating so that I can mix it with what I've bought.  Trips to two pet shops were required for me to get both the food and the litter that I like to use.

I'm feeling very optimistic.  I think I've lucked into a sweet cat who will be happy here and will make me happy too.
