A day of contrast, and RIP HRH

Today started off bright, sunny, blue skies, lots of contrails (easing of lockdown sign maybe). Jonty running to catch me up and one of the aircraft leaving the contrails. (Bottom Half of photos)
This afternoon, coinciding with the news of the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, it became grey, overcast and then the rain started. I don't think it's going to last long though. (Top half, wet garden).
I've responded to some comments about HRH with the following;
"For all of the criticism aimed at him, for a hundred different reasons, I do know he was a war veteran, served in the Royal Navy, awarded the Greek medal of valour after the battle of Crete (Grandad Rosey was there too but on land). He was also mentioned in dispatches after saving his ship from a night bomber attack.
He had a lot of faults but can't doubt his bravery or loyality."

N.B. Grandad Rosey is my father, 6 Battalion Blackwatch, fought in Italy (Monte Casinno), Crete and Northern Europe.
