GUESS WHAT WE FOUND?

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We heard Mrs. HCB say that she was going for a wander around the garden, so you know us, we jumped at the chance to go out and get some fresh air - it’s been so cold and windy just lately that we haven’t been out at all.

Just as we were walking past the pond towards the bug pile, which is a huge pile of logs and tree stumps, Penny Penguin tugged at my sleeve and told me that she had seen the little squirrel still holding a Cadbury’s Creme Egg!  How did we ever miss that last week when we were doing our Easter Egg Hunt?

I climbed up the log pile to show them all how it was done, followed by Snowy and Tiny and then Penny quickly clambered up the logs and sat next to the squirrel - I think she felt she that as she had seen it first, she should have her photograph taken next to it.  We’re not quite sure how this squirrel got into the garden, but think it was a gift from Mrs. HCB’s Mum a long time ago - I remember that it had a bag of hazelnuts and also some nutcrackers, but the nuts are long gone.

When I got to the top of the pile, I was amazed to see that there was also a little Golden Rabbit tucked in behind another log - what a find!  We could hardly believe our luck.  We're going to have fun eating this chocolate!

Meanwhile, Hoggy who is much slower than the rest of us on account of his short legs, was struggling to get up onto the logs, but he managed it eventually - he’s a obstinate little hedgehog and never gives up!  Mrs. HCB shouted to us all to smile and said she would be able to use this photograph in honour of Admirer for Silly Saturday, so of course, we were happy to do so.

We do realise that we will have to keep these well away from Mrs. HChocoholicB so we asked Mr. HCB to help us;  he kindly said that he would put them up into the high cupboard where the other ones are hidden, so that she can’t get her hands on them without climbing the ladder, not that it’s ever stopped her before!

We hope you all have a good weekend - it’s going to be a sad few days, as we heard yesterday that Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, had died, so we will be thinking of and praying for the Queen and her family.

With love from

JH Ted and friends xx
