Covid Cures

A trip to Saughton Gardens to have a nose about was very much in order as it was a fine sunny morning. Aren’t those plant identification apps wonderful. Well, they worked for the first two plants; the third was a bit random. Rather like our new medical thermometer.
Into the car and a whatsApp from Paulie, "Chookie embra wan o the immortals.” That took a minute to figure out. Jings, that’s a biggie. He’s been around forever, and that will hit poor old Her Maj hard, I’m sure. 
Later a teatime pint with the lads. The TV schedules are all upended, including the Hearts v Alloa game. For months they’d shown terrible games involving HMFC and as soon as we’re pulled from the airwaves we win 6-0 !!!
